We are indeed mostly lay-led, meaning that services are presented by non-ordained members of the fellowship on most Sundays. However, we also have a part-time pastor, who serves our fellowship in a variety of ways.

David Soliday has been in contract with our fellowship since spring of 2013. He is a 2007 graduate of the Methodist Theological School in Ohio, and has completed Clinical Pastoral Education at Marion General Hospital Hospice. He is also a member of the Unitarian Universalist Society for Community Ministers.

By day, he’s the Instructional Technologist at Ohio Wesleyan University, where he has served as an advisor on Spring Break Interfaith Service teams, for many years working with the Rosebud Lakota people. He’s a member of Sustainable Delaware Ohio, and enjoys all kinds of games, music, and dance.

As a member of the Delaware Ministers Association, he occasionally writes the Religion column for the Delaware Gazette and offers the invocation at Delaware City Council meetings. He may be contacted for weddings or other ceremonies.

He may be reached at david.soliday+duuf@gmail.com.
