Please join us this Sunday at 10:30am for the service, “Beautiful Ohio,” presented by Bob Ford.
Ohio was inhabited for over 10,000 years by various groups of Indians during the prehistoric era. The name “Ohio” comes from the Iroquois word “ohi-yo” meaning “great river. It was admitted to the union in 1803 as the 17th state of the United States. Ohio was the birthplace of seven U.S. presidents and has been called “the Mother of Presidents.” There will be music of Gershwin, Carl Fischer, and Marty Robbins.
The retreat will be held in person in the parlor at the Delaware County Cultural Arts Center (The Arts Castle), at 190 West Winter Street in Delaware, Ohio.
