For Earth Day, our Minister, David Soliday, will help us see the Earth as a system, affirming our 7th principle, “Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.” He will read the Lakota creation story, which is the basis for their principle of Mitakuye Oyas’in, or “We are all related,” and he will lead us in a hands-on activity to demonstrate our connections to each other and to the world around us. We will hear music from Spirit and The Police.

It’s also our Spotlit Charity Sunday, and Sustainable Delaware Ohio is our selected spring charity. David is on their Board of Directors and will be sharing their mission and history. Offertory collections that Sunday (we will pass the plate) will go to SDO.
