Please join us this Sunday at 10:30am for our service “Making Amends or Amendments,” presented by our part-time minster David Soliday.
We’re always trying to revise things, either because we’ve grown and expanded our perspectives or because we haven’t and we’re resisting change. This happens at the denomination level–in our case the UUA–most famously in General Assembly business sessions. It happens at all levels of society and government, such as recent proposals to ban diversity, equity, and inclusion, or DEI, from higher education. The process need not be divisive or even argumentative, if everyone involved in it honors their relationships to each other.
The service will be held in person in the parlor at the Delaware County Cultural Arts Center (The Arts Castle), at 190 West Winter Street in Delaware, Ohio.
