Please join us on Sunday, March 8th at 10:30am for our service “An Interfaith Chaplain’s Take on Spirituality” presented by Dwight Davidson.
There are many definitions of spirituality, but the definition many institutional spiritual care providers use is congruent with the World Health Organization’s 1998 “fourth dimension of health” statement on spirituality as the personal quest for meaning, purpose, and transcendence, often involving connectedness to self, others, and that which is greater than self. In this talk, I’ll share how professional chaplains use that definition to note areas of spiritual well-being or distress (and posit interventions). What do you think about spirituality and health?
The service will be held in person in the parlor at the Delaware County Cultural Arts Center (The Arts Castle), at 190 West Winter Street in Delaware, Ohio.
This service will be livestreamed on Zoom. Join our meeting with this link, or enter meeting ID 7403634630.
