From Bumper Cars to Bus Systems: Mending the World and Each Other

Building beloved community is a worthy and meaningful vision.  Yet, it can seem quite impossible to achieve.  Audre Lorde, in talking about dismantling racism says “the master’s tools will not dismantle the master’s house?”  So what tools do we use?  How to we bring healing and transformation to the world and ourselves?  We will focus on narrative, healing, and action as tools to bring forth healthier communities.

Coffee and conversation will take place after the service with refreshments provided by Coe.

The service will be held offsite at the Second Ward Community Initiative at 50A Ross Street in Delaware. There is parking beside the building with handicap accessibility, as well as on the street. Please be aware that we share available parking with the church across the street; if you are able, please park a little further and walk.
