Human Trafficking has been identified as the fastest growing criminal industry in the world and is very much a scourge in our state of Ohio.
David Shine, a former and charter Board member of Sisters in Shelter (a group based in Seneca County whose mission is to educate the public about human trafficking and to support and advocate for its victims) will give a presentation on Human Trafficking.
Besides receiving an overall picture of human trafficking as it exists today, those attending will receive materials that will list “red flags” that you can look for if you suspect someone might be a victim, as well as information on what you can do about this modern day form of slavery.
Introduction and Coffee And… provided by our minister David Soliday.
As this is the first service of the month, PIN Sunday, please bring your donations for People In Need.
