Mary Alice Dillman will present the topic of “Individualism and Otherness” as it appears in spiritual and political terms. Individualism has been a core idea in the United States; that is, one needs to help oneself if one is to survive. But when such an idea inculcates further, this message is lost if one cannot love one’s neighbor as oneself. The mysterious truth about human nature is that to love oneself must include loving others. Jonalyn and Christopher Snyder will present the musical interludes.
