Lessons Learned with the Hare Krishnas

Our service this morning, January 14, 2024, is being moved to our Zoom room due to the very low temperatures and potentially slippery roads and sidewalks.

Please join us at 10:30am for our service “Lessons Learned with the Hare Krishnas,” presented by our minister David Soliday.

David lived in New Vrindaban, a religious farm community and home of the Palace of Gold, in rural West Virginia from 1986 to 1992. During this time, he was a rose gardener, assistant office manager for a publishing company, van driver, temple priest, school teacher, and assistant elephant caretaker, among other occupations. He received first and second level initiation into the Vaishnava teachings and discipline from Kirtananda Swami Bhaktipada, who was a disciple of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who brought the Hare Krishna movement to the United States from India and founded the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).

The service will be held in our Zoom room, which will open 15 minutes before the service begins. Please click HERE and follow the prompts to join us. Alternatively, you can open your Zoom app and enter Meeting ID 740 363 4630.
