Please join us this Sunday at 10:30am for our service “Lessons Learned with the Hare Krishnas,” presented by our minister David Soliday.
David lived in New Vrindaban, a religious farm community and home of the Palace of Gold, in rural West Virginia from 1986 to 1992. During this time, he was a rose gardener, assistant office manager for a publishing company, van driver, temple priest, school teacher, and assistant elephant caretaker, among other occupations. He received first and second level initiation into the Vaishnava teachings and discipline from Kirtananda Swami Bhaktipada, who was a disciple of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who brought the Hare Krishna movement to the United States from India and founded the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).
The service will be held in person in the parlor at the Delaware County Cultural Arts Center (The Arts Castle), at 190 West Winter Street in Delaware, Ohio.
